Suzuki Swift is a subcompact car produced by the Japanese automaker Suzuki. The vehicle was first shown at the Paris Motor Show in September 2004
The first generation Suzuki Swift was launched globally in 2005 as a sporty subcompact car. Suzuki Swift was an instant success all over the world, with sales exceeding expectations. Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited introduced it in Pakistan in 2009. The vehicle was powered by a 1.3-liter M13A petrol engine and was available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. It was phased out in Pakistan in 2021.
